Pupil Personal Development

"Pupil Personal Development focuses on giving our pupils knowledge and life skills, as well as greater self-awareness and resilience to lead confident and fulfilled lives at Norwich School and beyond. Our flexible programme is heterogenous and is continually adapted to support the needs of pupils and ensure current themes and issues are addressed.

Each term we explore a different topic including: Relationships and sex and education, Living in the wider world, Drugs Alcohol and gangs, Health and wellbeing, Online safety, Financial Decision Making, Employability Skills, and Careers. Similar themes are explored each year via a spiral curriculum, with the lessons increasing in depth and challenge as pupils progress through the school.

At the start of each topic parents/guardians will be contacted via email with an outline of what their child will be learning in PPD that half term, this is to help encourage dialogue to continue at home."
