British National Overseas (BNO) fees - Reception - Year 10

Applicants applying to the School from Hong Kong as British National Overseas (BNO), who have been offered a place at Norwich School, will be required to pay a term's fees in advance, a refundable acceptance deposit of £600, and a one-off fee of £2,500. This fee covers the costs incurred by the School associated with using the BNO scheme, such as agent fees and additional English provision that may be required upon arrival. After the first term, the day fee listed above, applicable to the year group, will be charged.


This fee will also be applicable to other applicants applying to the school via an agent, or those who are deemed in need of additional English provision.

Fees are reviewed annually and the school will endeavour to give parents and fee payers one term’s notice of any increase in the fees due the following academic year.


Lunch Charges

Senior School Lunch Charge

The charges for Senior School lunches are set at £6.00 per day and varies according to the number of days in each term. The charge for the Michaelmas Term 2024 is £372.00, for the Lent Term 2025 is £336.00 and for the Trinity Term 2025 is £270.00, making a total charge for the year of £978.00. 


Lower School (L2-U3) Lunch Charge 

The charges for Lower School (L2-U3) lunches are set at £5.75 per day and varies according to the number of days in each term. The charge for the Michaelmas Term 2024 is £356.50, for the Lent Term 2025 is £322.00 and for the Trinity Term 2025 is £258.75, making a total charge for the year of £937.25. 

 


Fee Payment

Fees are due and payable before the first day of each term. 

School fees can be paid via BACS/online banking or standing order/direct debit using the School’s bank details** shown in the “Terms & Conditions” section of the fee bill. A monthly payment option is also available via School Fee Plan, who make a 3.56% charge for this facility, click here for more information. Norwich School is an Introducer Appointed Representative of Premium Credit Limited which is Authorised and Regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. *School Fee Plan is a trading style of Premium Credit Limited.

Terms and Conditions

Registration & Acceptance (Domestic Pupils)

Registration fee

A non-refundable fee of £95 per pupil is payable when pupils formally apply for a place at Norwich School.


Acceptance deposit

An acceptance deposit of £600 is payable on acceptance of a place for a pupil. This deposit is refunded at the end of the pupil’s last term at the school provided there are no outstanding charges. 


Additional Fees

Examinations

External examinations (including GCSE and A Level examinations) are charged separately, further details will come out ahead of any pupil sitting their formal exams. These fees are added to the Trinity term fee bill.

 

Buses

The School runs various bus routes around Norfolk, which are billed either termly, half-termly or on a single ticket basis. Further information regarding transport can be found here.

 

Uniform

A full uniform list will be sent to all new families ahead of joining the school, as well as information about our uniform suppliers. There is also a second-hand uniform shop run by Friends of Norwich School volunteers which is open on select dates throughout the year.


Lower School Extended Care

There is additional after-school care between 17:00 and 18:00, which incurs an additional charge of £7 per session.
