Lower School Library

Welcome

Welcome to the Norwich Lower School Library, the heart of our Lower School, where the love of reading is nurtured and celebrated. This warm, cosy and inviting space is designed for pupils aged 4 to 11, offering a diverse collection of picture books, graphic novels, fiction, and non-fiction that caters for every reading interest and level. Open daily before school and during lunchtimes, our library provides the perfect environment for students to dive into the world of stories and learning.

Pupils can borrow up to three books at a time, with a generous three-week lending period. The library is also a hub of activity and community, with Year Six pupils serving as library monitors, and reading ambassadors from Year 3 upwards, recommending books to others and helping their peers discover new literary treasures.

Throughout the year, our library hosts a variety of exciting events, from author visits and Jackanory sessions to themed activities around events such as Roald Dahl Day, Non-Fiction November, and the ever-popular Harry Potter Book Night.

Whether it's finding a new favourite book or participating in our vibrant literary community, the Lower School Library is a place where every child can explore, learn, and grow."
