This Michaelmas Term has been jam-packed full of sporting competition for pupils in the Lower School, with competitions taking place school-wide in Hockey, Rugby and Football.
Boys House Rugby:
This term the U8-U11 Lower School Boys took part in their annual House Rugby competitions, with a mixture of Tag, Touch and Contact tournaments between the three Lower School Houses; Conisford, Heigham and Magdalen. All competitions held equal value in terms of points for the overall standings. The tournaments were all played in great spirit, with some of the contact tournaments being particularly competitive. The overall winners of the Boys House Rugby Cup were Conisford!
Mixed House Football:
This term the Lower School boys and girls took part in the first house football competition in recent years. All pupils from U8-U11s played with great spirit and enthusiasm, with some impressive teamwork and skill on display. Heigham were the overall winners of the inaugural Lower School House Football trophy!
Girls House Hockey:
The U8-U11 Girls took part in their annual house hockey competition, between the three Lower School Houses; Conisford, Heigham and Magdalen. The girls played some very competitive hockey showing pride and determination for their houses, with Heigham being crowned the overall winners.
