Today on Wednesday 22 January, we held the first of eleven UCAS subject lunches where pupils in Lower 6 interested in studying different subject areas after Norwich School gain advice on the application process from current Upper 6 pupils.
The session began with an introduction from Head of Physics Dr Hall and subject specialist for Engineering Ms Ling on all the opportunities that the Physics department provides to help pupils with applications. Bea Adamson, Cara Feeney and Aadith Jamadagni along with ONs Rachel and Daniel Wright then answered questions on how they decided on which course and which universities to apply to and how they explored the subjects beyond A level in order to write strong university personal statements and excel in admissions tests and interviews. Aadith also talked about his applications to a number of leading companies for electrical engineering degree apprenticeships.
Mrs Warren is very thankful to these ONs and Upper 6 pupils and looking forward to the next UCAS subject lunch - for law on Monday 3rd February.
