It has been a busy half-term to date with the initial few weeks of the term focusing on preparation for the regional round of the England Netball National Schools competition. We were proud to be one of only two schools in the East who qualified in all three age groups as County Champions. The day was action-packed with the U19's narrowly missing out on qualification for National Finals, finishing as the third best U19 team in the East. The U14 and U16 squads produced very credible performances with three wins, a draw and two losses. These results are particularly pleasing given the U14 squad were all experiencing Regional Finals for the first time and the U16 squad, with the exception of one player, all being U15.
Aside from Regionals, the Netball Club's most recent block fixture against The Perse was fiercely contested and once again challenged us to produce our very best netball. Pleasingly, the 1st VII, 2nd VII, 15A and 14A all recorded excellent wins.
With over 120 games already played this season, and an impressive win rate of 71%, we look forwards to a restful half-term and further fun and success on the court upon our return. Well done to all involved.
