U2 Pupils enjoyed a fun packed Informal Concert last night in the Lower School Hall showcasing some wonderful playing. They had just returned from 3 busy days in York on a School Trip, but they were determined to perform in the concert. Head of Music Mr Vine said, ‘ I was so pleased with our U2 pupils, they were tired from their trip but performed so well and so musically. Bravo!’
The audience were treated to works from Mozart, Beethoven, and Scott Joplin, together with original songs from Lower School girl group ‘Rainbow Society’, Seven Nation Army on the Drums and a beautiful performance of ‘Drink to me only with Thine Eyes’ on the Harp.
A big thank you to the audience for their enthusiastic support.
The final Informal Concert for Lent Term is on the 29th February and will feature children from Reception, Lower 1, Lower 2 and Upper 2.
