Michelle Jarrold graduated from Queens’ College Cambridge with a degree in Geography. Michelle worked in publishing in London and Norwich before switching to a career in retail with Jarrold, and was for many years also a non-executive director on the Jarrold Board. Michelle is now an independent retail consultant working across the UK. She is a Trustee of the Norwich Theatre Services Board, and a Trustee and non executive director for RC Snelling. 



Michelle lives in Norfolk and is married to Richard Martin, a landscape designer. She has two grown up children, both of whom attended Norwich School. Michelle is a member of the Norwich School Executive and Development Committees.
