Curriculum

Lower School pupils in lineThe Lower School curriculum offers an exciting and challenging range of subjects designed to develop a strong foundation of skills and knowledge.  Pupils are taught by their form teacher as well as subject specialists.  We aim to nurture a love of learning and give pupils the confidence to be fully involved in all aspects of their education.  The following subjects are taught in the Lower School:

Optional tuition is available in Speech & Drama and around twenty different musical instruments.

Classroom activities are complemented by day and residential trips for all pupils - eg a visit to a Victorian workhouse as part of History studies or a residential coastal erosion study in Geography.
